As the body of Christ we need to know that we are not void of disputable matters. When these matters are not handled well with wisdom, the unity in the church is disturbed. What are disputable matters?

“Disputable matters are those
matters that the Bible has not given
a directive or gave a temperol
instruction in the OT only but not
mentioned in NT”

-George Mukoboto

We face situation where one brother considers all the days special with the attitude of glorifying God and the other just one day also with the attitude of glorifying God. In Some situations we meet some who prefer eating some food because of their weak conscious but with an attitude to glorify God because one give thanks to God when eats, and some consider all food as something they can eat also with an attitude of glorifying God through thanks giving in prayer.

Now with that in mind, what should be the attitude of each believer toward the other with regard to these matters in light of the salvation we have in Christ? Is it right to condemn someone whom Christ died for based on what one eats and does not eat or which day one considers special and one doesn’t?

In this article Pastor George Mukoboto, is going to help us understand that the preeminence of Christ in these matters should cause us not to judge one another. We should leave judgment in the hands of God and focus our lives in honoring God in all situations because each one of us is going to stand before God and give account of oneself.
